Crawlable pages, sound metadata, canonical URLs, structured data, and internal links help search systems interpret the site.

We build pages around the questions a real buyer asks, not thin pages created only to target a phrase.

For the markets worth winning, we create distinct service-area destinations with enough substance to deserve a customer’s attention.
Search engine optimization is the work of making your website easy for Google (and now AI tools) to read, understand, and trust, so it shows your business when someone searches for what you do. For a local company that mostly means three things: a site that loads fast and is built cleanly, pages that answer the real questions buyers ask, and clear signals about where you work.
AEO, or answer-engine optimization, is the newer half. When people ask ChatGPT, Gemini, or Google's AI summaries for a recommendation, those tools pull from pages that state facts plainly and answer questions directly. We write with both readers in mind.
SEO is a fit when:
- Customers find businesses like yours by searching "service + town" or "near me" - You can wait a few months for organic results while other channels carry the load - You want visibility that does not stop the day an ad budget runs out - You serve more than one area and want to be found in each of them
It also suits owners who want an asset they keep. A well-built page can keep answering customer questions for years after it is written, which is hard to say about an ad that stops the moment the budget does.
If you need calls this week, SEO alone is the wrong tool. Pair it with Google Ads while the foundation grows.
We start with the website, because an SEO plan on a slow, disorganized site is fighting uphill. Our builds are static and fast, and each page must pass the Intown Ads build standards: crawlable HTML, unique local content, schema, and internal links.
From there, the work usually covers:
- Technical cleanup: speed, mobile layout, titles, canonical tags, structured data - Service pages: one strong page per service, written around buyer questions - Local pages: Plant Your Flag pages for each service in each city or neighborhood you serve, with genuinely local context rather than swapped town names - Question-and-answer sections: so both searchers and AI tools can lift a clear answer - Local profile alignment: matching your site to your Google Business Profile (see local SEO)
Kris Johnson, our co-founder, leads this side of the work. He has spent more than 20 years on how businesses get found, and is SEM certified.
There is no one-size price. What changes the scope:
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Current site condition | A site that needs recreating first adds build work |
| Number of services | Each service deserves its own page |
| Number of markets | More towns means more local pages to write well |
| Competition | Crowded categories take more content and time |
| Ongoing vs. one-time | A foundation build versus continued content and measurement |
Our Briarwood Turf Care project shows what scale can look like: 225 pages across 31 cities and 6 county hubs, 7 services per city, with around 1,000 words of local content per page. Read the case study.
No honest team can guarantee rankings or AI citations. We build the technical and content foundation that makes meaningful discovery possible, then measure and improve it.
Get a Qualified-Lead Assessment →Organic search usually builds over months, not days, and it depends on your competition and where your site starts. We will not promise a timeline for rankings; we will show you what we built and how it is being measured.
SEO helps your pages rank in regular search results. AEO shapes the same pages so AI assistants and AI summaries can understand them and quote a clear answer. Most of the groundwork is shared, which is why we build them together.
Only if you truly serve that many service-and-town combinations. The number of pages should follow your real service area, and every page has to carry useful local content or it does not get built.
